The firsts got back to winning ways again on Saturday with a comprehensive 9 wicket victory against St Georges.
Having won the toss, and inserted the visitors, the Cae Glas bowlers struggled to dislodge the visitors as they patiently accumulated a very handy 167 for the loss of 4 wickets in their 40 overs on an excellent batting track.
Tom Gardner was the pick of the home bowlers with 3 for 48 from a 12 over spell.
In reply, a 98 run opening partnership between Toothy and Andy G eased any concerns that Cae Glas had lost the winning habit. And when Toothy fell on 50, Barry Richards joined Griffer in guiding the home side to victory in 26 overs with dark skies threatening.
Barry finished on an excellent 35 not out and Andy on 63 not out.
