Cae Glas continued their inconsistent season with a poor display away at Prees.
A reduced overs match was further disrupted for three rain delays which broke any rhythm the Glas attack may have had. Gareth Edgerton bowled well for his four wickets at the death but the damage had already been done with some wayward bowling. Ruch Nimantha also picked up three wickets as Prees closed on 180-9.
The Glas reply was very much a rear guard action as all the batsmen struggled to get to grips with the Prees pace attack.
S.Willuams and C.Cathrall were in top form sharing seven wickets as Glas slumped to 88 all out, just four balls short of forcing a losing draw they barely deserved. Ben Hipkiss top scored with a risky 26.
