Another toss lost and Cae Glas batted first at a damp Quatt oval and amassed 187-6 in a match reduced to 35 overs due to a wet outfield and the prospect of more rain. Ben Hipkiss top scored with 80, sharing important partnerships with Tim smith, Shaun Southern, Simon Dean and Barry Vaughan. Joe Cotham bowled well taking 3-43 for Quatt. Chasing 188 for victory skipper Mark Ward led the way with a well crafted 74. The introduction of Tim Turner to the bowling attack changed the complex of the match when he dismissed Ward and the middle order on his way to 5-27. An excellent game in challenging conditions with a wet ball as Cae Glas continued their excellent recent form and secured a 7-3 winning draw.
