Cae Glas I already back to winning ways

Cae Glas got back to winning ways with a convincing 4 wicket win against visitors Bishops Castle on Saturday. Having lost the toss, Bishops Castle were soon in trouble thanks mainly to a terriffic opening spell from paceman Ruch Nimantha who took 4 – 34 as Bishops Castle struggled to 124 – 9 in their 45 overs. Making his return to the Cae Glas bowling attack  Tim Morris took 2-23.

In reply a solid start looked in danger of being squandered as Cae Glas lost Nick Morris and Aidan Martyn in quick succession but a stand of 45 between Tim Morris and Nimantha steadied the ship and Cae Glas cruised to victory, Nimantha completing a fine all round performance with a classy 58.
